Truing the wheels is a slow process and you can only do so much with a junk yard wheel. I finally decided 020" runout was OK. I still have 3 wheels to check. Maybe they will be perfect!!

Another support was needed closer to the steering wheel. Keeping it lined up with the other two was a problem.

The clutch and the throttle pedals are installed. The brake pedal will mount in the middle after I know what size master cylinder is required.

The steering is finally finished. You asked before how the steering worked when the car was on the ground. Happy to report that it turns easily. The whole thing with the wheels and tires only weighs 490# so far though and the frame was supported a couple of feet aft of the cage. I think it will have about 900# on the front axle (without ballast) when it's done. That the plan anyway.
